Our Philosophy
The Shenandoah Education Foundation supports educational programs throughout Shenandoah County. The Board is careful to consider whether requests for funding provide benefit on an equitable, county-wide basis. Consideration is also given to individual programs where students’ participation will serve to represent Shenandoah County at a regional, state, national or global level.
The Board is also careful to ensure that the SEF enhances or supports these educational programs but does not replace school or county funding. The Foundation does intend to be the sole source of funding for any initiative.
