Each spring, Shenandoah County Public Schools announces the annual winner of the Teacher of the Year division winner. In addition to sponsoring the event, the Foundation awards a $2,500 grant to that teacher to be used in his or her classroom or school. Recent winners have used their funds to attend specialized professional development sessions and for technology needs such as additional Chromebooks for their classrooms.
