SCPS Teacher of the Year Award Grant

Supporting Excellence in Teaching Since 2012

Each spring, Shenandoah County Public Schools announces the annual winner of the Teacher of the Year division winner. In addition to sponsoring the event, the Foundation awards a $2,500 grant to that teacher to be used in his or her classroom or school. Recent winners have used their funds to attend specialized professional development sessions and for technology needs such as additional Chromebooks for their classrooms.

Thank you SO much for the funds, Shenandoah Education Foundation. I have used them to purchase professional development materials which have been very helpful with my instruction. I also purchased some phonics games and read aloud books. Thank you for supporting teachers in such a tremendous way.
